OU BFA Studio Art & Arts, Culture, TechNology Student Show

April 17 - april 26

Opening reception of the BFA Studio Exhibition

Uncanny Art House hosted Oklahoma University art students featuring two programs from the School of Visual Arts. The exhibition opened on the third Friday of April.

The show highlighted the talent of both OU’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art and Arts, Technology, and Culture programs, showcasing a wide range of styles, mediums, and visions from 17 students.

This student showcase offered a glimpse into the world of artist development and provided students with an opportunity to gain experience in a gallery setting.

OPENING RECEPTION

Immersive art that feels like stepping into a bedroom

We opened the BFA Studio Exhibition on the third Friday in April, welcoming the community as well as OU staff, students, and family into an exhibition that showcased a wide variety of styles and mediums.

Immersive art also took part with pieces guests could walk inside of, life sized paper dolls with interchangeable clothing, and a glowing desk to peer inside of.
