MEET YOUR TEACHER
Lindsey Martin-Prascher is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Norman, Oklahoma, whose creative journey weaves through teaching, community engagement, and a personal exploration of identity and inspiration.

In 2011, Lindsey founded the Scissortail School of Art in downtown Norman, a vibrant space offering art classes for children as young as two years old. Her approach emphasized hands-on creativity and upcycled materials, fostering a playful and inclusive environment. After selling the school in 2016, she shifted her focus to producing original artworks, delving deeper into her own artistic voice.

Her recent work includes a series of portraits featuring inspirational women, each highlighting the subject's hands to symbolize action and impact. She has also explored themes in hip-hop culture, with her paintings featured at music events in Oklahoma City.
