๐ŸŒˆ Calling all visual artists! Uncanny Art House is thrilled to announce Queer Joy, an art exhibition celebrating queer joy, self-expression, and the rich history of queerness. The exhibition opens during Norman's 2nd Friday Art Walk on May 9, 2025. Visual artists, performers, and vendors are encouraged to apply at the links below.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

The theme of the exhibition is centered around queer joy, self-expression, and queer history. We are looking for creatives that exhibit these themes in their work and provide an opportunity to share their craft with the community throughout the month of May.

For visual artists, weโ€™re seeking art that is:

  • Painting or illustration

  • Photography

  • Sculpture or mixed media

  • Digital art

  • Video

  • Installation

For performers, weโ€™re looking for:

  • Drag

  • Burlesque

  • Storytellers

  • Theater

  • Music

For vendors, we want:

  • Educational material

  • Community Organizations

  • Queer Crafters and Small Business

Submission Details

  • Submit up to 4 pieces of artwork for consideration.

  • No submission fee.

  • If selected, artwork must be delivered to Uncanny Art House by May 3, 2025.

  • Performers and vendors will receive more information about their dates and times upon acceptance.
