Uncanny Art House is proud to present RAW, an exhibition of mixed media photography by Al Paldrok, founding member of the internationally renowned traveling performance art collective Non Grata. This limited time exhibition is part of ARTOBERFEST! a collaborative arts event series is produced in partnership with Resonator.

Al Paldrok’s prints and artworks will be on display during downtown Norman’s October 2nd Friday Art Walk on Friday, October 9, as part of the broader ARTOBERFEST! programming throughout the week.

About Al Paldrok

Al Paldrok, alias Anonymous Boh, is an Estonian performance artist, sculptor, graphic artist, and video artist. He utilizes performance and documentation of his tours in his work as Non Grata. The Estonian performance troupe comprising of members from across every continent and acquired through numerous years of international tours, Non Grata has been mesmerizing, bewildering, and terrifying audiences around the world for over two decades. Their performances etch themselves permanently into the memories of everyone who witnesses them, leaving audiences questioning the very stability of the world around them.

The photographs on view in RAW capture the insane energy of Non Grata's performances while reflecting the underlying philosophies that drive Paldrok and the collective itself. Traveling all the way from Estonia, Paldrok will be present to share stories and talk about his work with guests.
