Learn about color, dots, and picture-building in this Saturday afternoon art class inspired by the work of Georges Seurat, designed for children ages 5–8.

This class introduces young artists to pointillism through playful, hands-on projects that use dots, patterns, and bright color combinations to create images. By exploring repetition and simple color relationships, students will build focus, fine motor skills, and creative confidence while discovering how many small marks can come together to make something exciting and new.

MEET YOUR TEACHER

Chelle brings over 25 years of experience teaching children and teens ages 2–18, with a deep love for hands-on artmaking and creative exploration. She is passionate about engaging young artists through arts and crafts, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and joyful experimentation. Her playful, crafty approach creates a welcoming environment where students of all ages can explore materials, express themselves, and have fun making art.
