Uncanny Art House is proud to host the public showcase of student artwork submitted to the 2026 WATER’S WORTH IT! Poster Contest, presented by the Environmental Control Advisory Board of the City of Norman.
Throughout April Art Walk and that weekend, community members are invited to view a vibrant exhibition of posters created by Norman elementary students (K–5) exploring themes of water conservation and environmental stewardship.
Community Voting During Art Walk
Cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award starting on Friday, April 10. Voting will remain open during gallery hours through April 12. This special community-selected award is new for 2026 and gives visitors the opportunity to celebrate the creativity and environmental awareness of Norman’s youngest artists.
Awards & Recognition
Prizes will be awarded to both students and teachers, including:
Student Awards: Gift cards for top submissions in grade categories K–1, 2–3, and 4–5
People’s Choice Award: Gift cards for both the winning student and their teacher
Teacher Participation Incentives: Gift cards for early participation and highest classroom engagement
The Grand Prize Winner will have their design featured as the official T-shirt graphic for the City of Norman’s Earth Day Festival and will be recognized at the festival on April 26, 2026, at Reeves Park.
This exhibition is a celebration of creativity, sustainability, and community engagement. We invite families, educators, and neighbors to experience the artwork, support student artists, and participate in shaping this year’s People’s Choice selection.
