Sign-ups at 7 PM | Featured Poet and Open Mic to Follow
106 E Main St, Norman, OK 73069

Free and open to the public

About the Event

4th Friday Poetry is a new monthly poetry open mic at Uncanny Art House, hosted by visual artist and poet spontaneous bob. Beginning in October, poetry takes over our 4th Friday slot, and our film series moves to 1st Fridays.

Each evening opens with a set from a featured headlining or traveling poet, followed by an open mic for anyone who wants to share their work. Whether you have been writing for years or are reading aloud for the first time, this is a welcoming space for poets of every experience level.

Sign-ups begin at 7 PM. The featured poet opens the evening, and the open mic follows. All are welcome to read or simply listen.

About the Series

4th Friday Poetry brings together Norman's writers, readers, and listeners once a month in the gallery. By pairing a featured poet with an open floor, the series offers a chance to hear established voices from Norman and beyond while making room for new work from the community.
