About the Exhibition
The Stranger Show is a fully virtual open call and exhibition hosted by Uncanny Art House, intended exclusively for artists who have not previously shown work with us. The exhibition will be hosted indefinitely on the Uncanny Art House website, presented on a custom-coded web page built to represent the submitted works.
This is an opportunity to showcase digital work that often does not receive representation in the physical gallery space. We are opening the door to artists who experience barriers to physical shows, and inviting them into a collaborative process with us from the start.
Selected works will have a dedicated section on the page, complete with an artist bio, statement, and relevant links to encourage viewers to explore each artist's portfolio and online presence.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking digital media works across a wide range of forms, including:
Experimental Video
Documentary Film
Animation (2D and 3D)
Graphic Design
Games
Code-Based Art
Digital Illustration and Painting
Alternative approaches to art making in the digital space
All submissions should exist as or be presented in a digital format suitable for web display. Works generated solely through artificial intelligence tools will not be accepted.
Artwork Requirements
Each artist may submit up to one work for consideration.
There is no submission fee.
Artists must not have previously had work represented by Uncanny Art House.

File Upload Guidelines
Both static images and other media will require a link
Name linked files using the following format: ArtistName_SubmissionTitle.png
For video, interactive, or other non-image formats, a link to your submission may be provided in the short answer field included in the application form.
Key Dates
Submission Deadline: July 15, 2025
Acceptance Notifications: July 30, 2025 (sent via email)
Exhibition Goes Live: August 15, 2025
