OPEN CALL: In Dreams, A david Lynch Tribute Show

Uncanny Art House is accepting submissions to the David Lynch Show until October 30, 2025.

We are hosting an open call for In Dreams: A David Lynch Tribute, an immersive exhibition inspired by the surreal and dreamlike world of David Lynch. The show will open during Norman’s 2nd Friday Art Walk on January 9, 2026, and run through March 1, 2026.

About the Exhibition

In Dreams will transform the gallery into a Lynchian dreamscape filled with immersive installations, projections, and multi-sensory environments. From the iconic Black Lodge to looping highway drives, the exhibition will explore the unsettling beauty, mystery, and duality that define Lynch’s creative universe.

Artists are invited to submit works that reflect Lynchian themes: voyeurism, doppelgängers, Americana with a dark undercurrent, surreal encounters, and the strangeness within the ordinary. Works may be directly inspired by Lynch’s films and artwork, or they may channel the uncanny spirit of his style.

What We’re Looking For

Each artist may submit one artwork for consideration.

1. Each artist may submit up to two works for consideration.

2. All mediums are welcome, including painting, photography, sculpture, installation, video, digital art, and mixed media.

3. Works must be framed or otherwise ready to display.

4. Each piece must be labeled with the artist’s name, title, medium, size, and price (or marked NFS) at drop off.

5. There is no submission fee.

6. Accepted artists will receive a 75/25 consignment split (75% artist / 25% UAH).

7. Artists are responsible for delivery, pickup, and installation readiness.

Key Dates

• Submission Deadline: December 1, 2025

• Acceptance Notifications: December 15, 2025 (sent via email)

• Artwork Drop-Off or Install: December 13-14, 2025 or January 3–4, 2026

• Exhibition Dates: January 9 – March 1, 2026

• Artwork Pickup: March 5 - 8, 2026
