DYLAN JOHNSON / @giantclick

Dylan Johnson is an Oklahoma native Photographer. After growing up in a burned down house in Norman, OK he began his career shooting in Los Angeles and New York City. Dylan honed his skills roaming the streets of NYC shooting raw street photos where he met his photography hero Bruce Davidson. Despite having no formal training Johnson eventually became the house photographer for several of the top music venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn, including Brooklyn Night Bazaar, Baby’s All Right and Glasslands.

In addition to starting and publishing a DIY art and music magazine called Dojo Zine he has work featured in Rolling Stone, Vice, XXL Mag, NPR, Esquire, Cosmopolitan. He also does photography work for feminist music icon Peaches, The ACLU, Shutterstock, SXSW and the Academy of Country Music Awards. Dylan’s work has been featured in art shows in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City.

For around a decade under the moniker @giantclick he has been shooting full time for music venues, restaurants, bands, record labels, music, arts and food festivals across the country. He is extremely excited to embark on the new journey of Uncanny Art House in his home town of Norman, OK.
