Uncanny Art House offers a consistent, creative, and strategic marketing solution for Downtown Norman. This plan establishes a long-term structure to ensure the district is well-represented across all platforms, with support for individual businesses and district-wide initiatives.

1. Downtown District Map and Brochure

Includes:

  • Custom fold-out brochure and map

Cost: $1,500 one-time design fee (Printing costs separate)

2. Graphic Design and Brand Collateral

Includes:

  • Design support for event flyers, social media graphics, and announcements

Cost: $2,500 one-time rebuild fee - $200/month for hosting, maintenance, and unlimited updates

4. Social Media Management

Includes:

  • Three posts per week on Instagram and Facebook

  • Copywriting, scheduling, and engagement

  • Content types include business spotlights, events, contests, Q&As, polls, and will include professional photo and video of Downtown businesses

  • Monthly engagement reports available to all Downtowners members

Cost: $600/month

5. Photo and Video Content Production

Includes:

  • Monthly content shoot (business interiors, events, seasonal downtown shots)

  • Drone footage and b-roll

  • Shared cloud folder for Downtowners members to access and reuse

Cost: $600/month

6. YouTube Channel Management

Includes:

  • Launch of official Downtown Norman YouTube channel

  • Monthly video uploads featuring downtown highlights, events, and stories

  • Video cross-promotion on social media and website

Cost: Included in photo/video production

7. Managed Advertising Budget

Includes:

  • Promoting weekly posts and special campaigns (e.g., Second Friday, holiday shopping)

  • Demographic targeting (age, interests, tourists vs locals)

Recommended Budget: $500/month (80% of budget is spent, 20% is kept as management fee)

If members are willing to pay $150/year for a listing on the website now, then perhaps they would be willing to throw in more if there is a direct, measurable benefit to the district and to their business. Since online payments options are now available, maybe a $20/month could work better? We are looking at creating a Plaza District level of marketing and engagement, as an example, and their yearly buy-in for businesses starts at $500 and goes up to over $2000. Just some things to consider.
